Yesterday, I met Lauren Johnson. While meeting her, she introduced her skin care line. As someone who has an issue with their skin, it was really refreshing seeing a BLACK business that is catered to healthy and glowy skin. Lauren Johnson is the 18 years old founder and CEO of Botanical Heaven Spa! Botanical Heaven was created to provide consumers with completely natural and holistic alternatives to the everyday drugstore products filled with chemicals and harmful preservatives. Lauren chose the name Botanical Heaven because she uses botanical ingredients to make products that will help give you heavenly glowing skin.

Botanical Heaven was made to be the one stop shop for all botanical products. It has always been embedded within her by watching her mother's habits to always find the healthiest and most natural solutions for the body. Lauren initially started off by making my own natural hair products at 10 years old; shortly after she decided to cut all of my hair off from having locs for about 3 years. Since then, Lauren has been actively experimenting with a multitude of different natural remedies. When entering her teenage years and puberty hit, I began to struggle with hormonal acne that began to make her insecure. After trying every single product in the drugstore, doing every YouTube tutorial that guaranteed clear skin and even being prescribed medication by a dermatologist, and still not seeing the results that she so desperately wanted; her focus shifted from hair care to making her own natural skin care as well. As Lauren's passion for skin care grew stronger, she decided to pursue my esthetician license. After continuously being told by several friends and family members that she made products for from time to time, as well as having an ample amount of time in quarantine during the COVID-19 pandemic, Lauren decided to bring Botanical Heaven to a broader audience who can benefit from her products as well.
