Black art is essential. I think along with promoting black brands we need to continue to promote and support our black artists of all forms and types. Today I will showcase a fellow young black female artist, Zykira Wilson, who nearly does it all. Please be sure to check out her work on her page and possibly even buy something. We need to put our money into black talents because it is our dollars that will allow them to soar!

From the Artist:

I create paintings, drawings, digital art, waist beads, and pretty much anything related to being creative. I plan to take on this Art career for the rest of my life while studying Psychology in college I plan to become an Art Therapist and open my own therapy center for all people. I love helping people and creating art for people. I branded myself under the name “Kira’s Kolours “ back in 2016 and decided that I want to expand and grow with that name itself, it’s more than just art for me. I believe that if I’m given talent, I’m going to find a way to make things happen with that talent. I never been handed anything in my life, always been independent, and found ways to survive on my own without any help. I enjoy what I do wholeheartedly and to be able to bless others with my work makes me happy.
