Bori OWP ( Overcome, Win, Prevail)

Bori was founded on the basis of spreading positivity, love, and promoting excellence and empowerment through fun and uplifting apparel. What I do is create apparel that inspires, that refreshes the mind and heart, and that highlights the positivity we should continue to surround ourselves with daily. My main goal is to solely bring more love into our society through positive outreach, catch peoples attention with messages that are catchy, fun, kind, and “smile worthy”, and spark more unity.

The name bori translates to prevail in Yoruba. Overcome and Win (OWP) complete the slogan of the company to convey that we are successful through everything we do.

And with that being said Bori will always strive to be successful in spreading positivity worldwide!

The logo is a tobono, the tobono is also of African roots symbolizing strength, hardwork, confidence and purpose.

With the name Bori being in the middle of it, unity is conveyed.

About Christian Reed

My name is Christian Reed and I am the founder of Bori. I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. Currently still attending college as a now sophomore. Studying to be a practitioner in the future yet also investing in different outlets such as entrepreneurship. Bori started as a dream of mine to reach people in a different yet positive way. And that dream continues to show itself through the hard work I put in to making sure Bori thrives. Growing up I was taught the importance of hard work, success, and spreading love. I was exposed to a lot of diversity in my earlier education which opened my eyes to many different aspects of the society we live in.

Growing up in Chicago I have also seen/heard/dealt with a lot of difficult things. But they have all made me stronger and have all shaped my mindset into what it is today. And that is one of success. A mindset of growth. A mindset of positivity. And overall one that’s geared towards making as much of a kind /positive change in society as possible.

And hence Bori was created.
